Practical Studies
Not only are students in our school given theoretical
knowledge, they are also facilitated to undertake
their studies practically
Community Outreaches
The students reach out to communities to put
into practice what they are taught.

the students on study tours and seminars and

Beside the nurses & midwifery school,
we have set up a school for laboratory technicians.
We have students from all over Uganda and todate
we have trained over 50 laboratort technicians
Serving the informal
settlement communities
The people we serve are normally located in
the informal settlements of peri-urban city
areas and small towns. Access to these
homesteads is difficult for the conventional
cesspool trucks. Our operators however, are
able to reach these communities.

About The School
Agule School of Nursing, Midwifery & Lab Technicians was founded in 2013. It is fully registered with the Ministry of Education & Sports under the Nursing Institutions Act of 1986 as well as Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council (Registration Number: ME/VOC/156. The school is a mixed institution for both male and female nurses and laboratory technicians.
It is a privately owned institution started by a former area member of parliament – Hon. David Ochwa. He started this school to boost the social economic development of Agule County in Pallisa District and the whole country

Agule School of Nursing, Midwifery & Lab Techniques was formed to To be the leading provider of quality professional nursing and midwifery education. The need for nurses, midwives and laboratory technicians is quite big. This is so especially in the rural areas of Uganda. It is a common thing to find rural areas with 1 :1000 nurse to population attendance ratio and 1:2,500 midwife to general population attendance ratio. The need is great and we are here to reduce that need
